Members of ORI know that the outcome of the Wiley v. Kirtsaeng case will impact consumers and businesses nationwide. A ruling in favor of Wiley, the book publisher, would negatively impact our fundamental right to resell, lend or give away any item that was manufactured overseas. This will significantly limit consumer choice and create new liabilities for businesses selling foreign-made goods.
